Robert Allman – Framestore : “Avengers: Infinity War”

Robert will be talking through Framestore’s work on Avengers: Infinity War.

Framestore completed 253 shots for the opening act of Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Infinity War. From the moment Bruce Banner crashes into Doctor Strange’s Sanctum Sanctorum in Greenwich Village to the epic ‘Race to Space’ sequence, our varied and action-packed work includes building the New York environment in CG, crafting the Q-ship, and creating CG friends old and new: Iron Man, Spider-Man, Ebony Maw and Cull Obsidian.

Conference in English.

Saturday 1st December, 11.15 – 12.15 (Auditori)

Robert Allman – CG Supervisor at Framestore.

I graduated from London Guildhall with an MA in Computer Animation in 1997, then had my first job with the newly formed Millfilm that year. Over the next few years I worked on Gladiator, the first Tomb Raider and Harry Potter films and TV series, like Band of Brothers.

After the Mill, I worked on set at Leavesden, on Prisoner of Azkhaban, then in 2003 I joined Framestore for the first time. Up until 2011 I worked there on every Harry Potter ever made, then left to work on Judge Dredd at Prime Focus. A few years later I was back at Framestore and since 2014 I have worked on Guardians of the Galaxy and Infinity War. I am back on Infinity War now, for the final instalment, which finishes in 2019.
