Isaak Fernández Rodríguez started at Walt Disney Animation studios in 2012 as an animator on “Wreck-It Ralph.” Born in Sabadell, Spain, Fernández grew up in a small town outside of Barcelona called Cerdanyola del Vallés with an early interest to become a filmmaker. He studied 3D animation for two years at Fak d’Art Media Institute before joining the Master of Animation program at the Autonomous University of Barcelona.
As an animator, Fernández brings characters to life by creating authentic performances. His credits include “Wreck-It Ralph,” “Zootropolis”, “Moana”, Ralph Breaks the Internet” and “Frozen 2” as well as several animated shorts including “Inner Workings,” “Olaf’s Frozen Adventure,” and “Myth: A Frozen Tale.”
Prior to his time at Disney Animation, he worked at effects house Blur Studio. He now lives in Los Angeles with his wife, visual development artist Lorelay, and his son Azul.
